There is one thing that I like to do more than any other thing and that is to travel. I have seen much of the world, though not as much as I would like to. I have recently started my own travel blog, so I could both give and get advice on good places to visit and the best places to stay when one is traveling.

I recently had a post from a guy about a larp weekend that was coming up in my city. I am not really big into this, but my boyfriend lives for it. I thought I would surprise him with the trip and I can honestly say that he was very pleased with the effort that I put into the trip that was all about him.

I say this because we usually do what I want to do and go where I want to go. It was a nice change to be less selfish for once and I think it was the best trip of his life.

I find a lot of people will go for holidays in basically the same locations as everyone else.  Instead of having a mind of their own and being a little bit adventurous, they just take the safe route.

But I would suggest that he should step out of your comfort zone and try something new.  In fact, there are many cheap holidays available at other locations around the world that you have never been and they offer the opportunity for you to grow as an individual.

If you need a place to start, a great location that I bet you’ve never heard of is Icmeler Turkey.  They have amazing beaches, wonderful food, and a great atmosphere for you to relax in.  What makes it even better is that there are many cheap flights to Turkey, so the trip will be rather inexpensive.

So the next time that you’re taking a vacation take a step out of your comfort zone and visit one of the best places to go for a holiday: Turkey.

I’ve always been a fan of comparison shopping and I make sure that I compare prices even when I’m traveling.  This can be even more important when you are away from home as quite often you can find your trip becoming more expensive for each day that passes.

What I like to do before I go on a trip is go online and do a little comparison on hotel rates.  Say for example, you were going to Las Vegas.  You would go online and see if you can find as many Las Vegas hotel deals as possible.  You would then take those deals and compare them side by side to make sure that you get the best rate.

Perhaps the MGM Grand promotion codes offer you a better deal on your night stay but you might still have to pay full price for breakfast.  On the other hand, the Mirage promotion codes might have a slightly more expensive room rate but breakfast is included.

Thankfully, you can find those information online and compare the hotel deals from the many Las Vegas hotels.  If you’re smart and do this, chances are he won’t have to pay full price for any night that you are there.

My sister and her husband took their kids to Disney World during their Christmas break last year and when we mentioned that we had been thinking about taking out kids this year, they were really helpful about obtaining Walt Disney World tickets.

Val sent me an email about how they had acquired their tickets and there was a place in right in the email where I could click for more info. I thought it was really nice of them to be helping us out so much and I was thankful to have someone to talk to about the trip that had done it before.

If they had not given us the Hopper tickets information, we never would have even known about them and the trip would have cost us a lot more. They will never know how much their advice meant to us and how much easier it made the trip on us.

When my family and I decided to get away over Christmas vacation one year, I certainly did not think that I would ever have surgery in Mexico. That is exactly what happened though. It sounds very scary, but fortunately, for me, it was minor and I came out of it just fine.

I had to stay in bed for a few days, but my family was gracious enough to extend the trip so that I would not miss any of the things that we had been planning to do while we were there. After the few days in bed, I was feeling as good as new and was very antsy to get out of that hotel room and see what Mexico ad to offer.

I was also very grateful for the extra health insurance that we had purchased for the trip. It certainly came in handy that time and I am glad to say that the extra health insurance has been a waste of money on every trip since then.

My son will be traveling overseas in a few short weeks for his summer holiday.  He has worked for the past couple of years now and put every penny away so that he would have this opportunity.  It has been great to watch him learn how to save for something that he truly wants, and now we will get to see him finally attain his goal.

But the one thing that we want while he is over there is for him to have a way to contact us.  We had thought that he could just call us on his cell phone, but once we learned how much he would have to pay for the long distance and the roaming minutes, it was out of the question.

So, we decided to see if we could find him some cheap calling cards to take with him.  Specifically, we were looking for international calling cards that would still be cheap enough that he could call us everyday and let us know how things were going.

We found some online and they will be here before he goes on his trip.  It will be sad to see him go, but we are so happy for him - we’ll just miss him a lot while he is gone.

My wife has been working in the travel industry for a number of years now and she has finally decided to start her own travel company.  Sure, it will be a new experience for her, but at the same time, she has always dreamed of working for herself and this will be her chance.

So, we have set aside a room in the house to be her office and have set it up to be welcoming and attractive.  We have even purchased some worldwide travel guides for her to show to her clients and she is getting ready to open shop.

We are both a little nervous taking this route and giving up her steady paycheck, but honestly, we will both be fine with it once she has her first sale.  It will just be nice to have the opportunity to have unlimited earnings potential instead of being capped by the number of hours you can work in a day.  I think we will both enjoy the freedom.

When my husband and I decided to take out first overseas vacation we knew that we needed help. It was not something that we thought we could do on our own, as we had never done anything like it before and we were both pretty nervous about everything from flying to food to accommodations.

We decided to book our holiday with Trafalgar Tours, as they had come highly recommended to us. When we started to see the trip laid out for us, we became less nervous and more excited. As the day neared, though, my husband was a wreck, as he had never flown before and he was scared to death.

I assured him that everything would be alright and that we were in good hands. Once we were in the air, he was fine and the whole trip went off without a hitch. We have traveled extensively since then and are looking forward to our next big excursion.

Well, I have never taken a trip to Las Vegas in my life and I thought that I should make the effort to go.  You see, I watch many television shows that are based out of the city, and I want to see it for myself.  Sure, you get to see bits and pieces on television, but I think that you are missing out on the full experience.

So, I have been reading as many Las Vegas reviews as I can to see what is good in the city.  I want to know what are the best hotels, the best shows and the best attractions in the area.  I guess I would rather go there with some sort of plan in mind instead of just winging it.

I have a lot more research to do before I take a trip there.  I think that I will make an effort to get the research done as fast as I can, because I am getting impatient - I want to go to Vegas right now!

I was so excited about our family vacation last summer. We had never really ventured too far from home, so when we decided to take a vacation to Europe for a month, it was a really big deal. It was all the kids could talk about for months before the trip and I was sure that we were ready. I just had to put last minute details together.

I didn’t want to forget anything. We had canceled the paper, our neighbor took our cat and we gave the fish away. I couldn’t think of anything else that we needed to do. The night before we were to leave my mother asked me who we had hired to do garden maintenance.

Okay, so there was something that we had forgotten. This made me upset, as I knew if we let the garden go, it would be hard to get it back the following year. My mother offered to hire someone for us and I told her I would bring her back something extra special. She told me an older Greek gentleman would be fine. Ha ha!
