Positive Thinking Moms Get More Done

Few people do more juggling and multi-tasking than mothers do on a daily basis. It can be hard enough when things are going smoothly, but with children there’s always the possibility of something unexpected to complicate life. Tired mothers may also look around at mountains of laundry and a long ‘to-do’ list and wonder what the point of it all is.

All busy moms can develop the attitude of positive thinking. We don’t want to look at this as just getting through the day, but to come home knowing your work was done productively and with pleasure. Psychologists and physiologists will be the first to tell you how negative thoughts impact not only on the body, but the mind as well. If you have been working on overload, the simple thought of the pile of laundry still needing to be done can easily make you feel exhausted.

Positive Thought Substituted

Your busy days can be worked through with a positive attitude in respect to the way you react to all aspects of them. It’s an option you make to sink into the sofa feeling helpless, just as it’s an option to motivate yourself to getting things done, and reaping the benefits afterwards. In the cultivation of a ‘can-do’ attitude you may find yourself having to work at it a little harder in the beginning, but soon enough it will be easier to deal with your new positive outlook.

Negative thinking a primarily a learned phenomenon, but may also be a result of a predisposition to optimism or pessimism. A learned phenomenon can be unlearned by identifying your various patterns of negative and positive thinking. If you can easily relate to any of the examples below, it may just be time for you to do something about it.

Disregard of the positive: The work day has come to an end, and that mountain of laundry is still sitting there. One can easily forget all the things you did accomplish during the day, and place all focus on what actually was completed during the day.

Blaming yourself: Technically it may be your fault that you haven’t finished your chores but berating yourself will only amplify feelings of failure and inadequacy. You’re only human and with a busy schedule failure to complete doesn’t mean you’re lazy and useless. Taking responsibility for things that are not entirely within your control will reinforce feelings of negativity.

Black, white and nothing in between: If you happen to be prone to ‘all or nothing’ answers or methods of assessing situations, you are amongst the ranks of people setting themselves up for negative thinking. Remember, perfection is rarely attainable.

Catastrophic thinking: This is when a person expects the worst, or sees one setback as a sign that the next step or next task is also going to be a disaster.

In order to achieve positive thinking means simply taking a step back in order to make realistic assessments. You can put a positive spin on any task with a little effort; even the most mundane. An example could be the paying of household bills. Most of us would rather not have to do this, however if you remind yourself of the pleasures that will come from completing this task, it turns into a positive thought. Be grateful you can soak in the tub at the end of the day. So many don’t have that option

Positive thinking will improve your energy, motivation and efficiency and endow you with contentment and peace of mind.

Love Energy

Have you ever come across one of those people that seem to just get it?

They seem connected, they have pleasant confidence that just makes you feel good to be around them. You can feel the energy coming off these people. Back in the day, they called it having animal magnetism.

Do you think they folks are walking around life looking for all the answers?

Dont they seem like they have them already?

What gives them this seemingly super power to create whatever they desire in life?

Its not that they have all the answers.

Its that theyve asked a few key questions.

When you have the right answers, you dont need to waste time searching for them.

As a former systems engineer I spent a lot of time getting to the core of some very complex problems. The systems Ive designed and written have run several multi-million dollar corporations and have had billions of dollars run through them.

One of the reasons that I am good at diagnosing and fixing problems in these systems is because of a simple concept one of my professors made sure we understood.

Make sure you are asking the right questions, and solving the right problems.

Thats what these folks that just seem to get it understand.

They ask themselves, what is at the core of this issue? They realize that symptoms are effects and start looking for their cause.

Ive applied my years as a system engineer to the systems that we use to create our lives. I call my work Human Being 2.0 ” The Human Operating System.

In my studies I found that one simple observation, one simple shift in attitude, can short-circuit a huge number of problems that people spend years trying to find the right answers to.

One simple instruction at the core of your Human Operating System can change everything about your life.

Consider this:

Everything is energy. Energy is intelligent. All energy vibrates. All energy harmonizes with all other energy.

You are energy. You vibrate and harmonize with all that is. The act of observing and your attitude towards it is the most powerfully creative process there is.

How you harmonize with energy is, essentially, how you create your life.

The purest energy that a human can produce is love. Thats why love energy is the greatest clearing mechanism known.

The greatest, most powerful Harmonic Thoughts are those of love.

And when the energy of your being is in harmony with love, you are in tune with the purest energy there is.

That’s why Love Energy produces clarity of mind and inspiration of thought, which lead to actions that are in harmony with what you truly desire from your life.

The abundant life that you deserve.

The Love Energy Routine is part of the answer to a question I asked. The answer was delivered through a flow of inspired, harmonic thought that was given to me to help me find peace in my life.

What is the Love Energy Routine? The answer to my question was not just the text and idea for a routine to help me feel better.

It was the idea that thoughts and emotions have energy, and that this energy can be focused and tuned. The routine uses guided visualization to put you in harmony with love and gratitude.

And when you are resonating with love and gratitude, that’s when great things start to happen.

Because we know the power of the harmony of energy, we start our seminars with the Love Energy Routine.

It does an excellent job of very quickly producing a state of clarity and harmony in the group. We know that whatever baggage and clutter that folks are carrying around can be released with simple observation of love energy.

The Love Energy Routine also focuses on gratitude. Gratitude is essentially love. Love for the things you are observing in your life.

Not love for things youve had or could have had. Not love for the things you may or may not have in the future.

Gratitude is the love for the things of now. Moreover, the love of now.

The love for the creative moment that is now.

Your mind is the most powerful creative natural resource on the planet, and its point of creation is always and only right now.

You have the ultimate power and authority to create your life however you are inspired to do so.

However, you must seize the authority and power and use it. Hone the skills and craft of creating your life. If you dont, your life will be created for you.

Action must be taken. Active thought must be involved. Keen observation is required.

Inspired thought produces the most powerful action.

Clarity produces the most inspired thought.

Love produces the greatest and purest clarity.

A Good Team Makes a Good Product

1203958212_Bill_Farley_picture If you pick up any business book that talks about making a great company, the one thing that you will find in all of them is that there is an emphasis on teamwork.  In fact, it is rare to see a company that succeeds not have a good team behind it.

I was looking today at companies that cater to the health sector.  Specifically, I was looking at companies that cater to the healthy living market and provide a product to fill a need.  Out of all the companies I looked at, one product stood out: Zrii Amalaki Juice.

You see, the product that they are offering is a delicious juice that prevents disease, maintains good health, and helps to maintain vitality.  I was really interested to read about the Zrii formulation team and see how their ideas became a reality.

I found a few good biographies of how their business became the success that it is today - I think I will go read them now and get inspired.

We All Have a Hero

Posted By Twyla on March 2, 2008 @ 11:47 am

I try my best to keep up with the latest on economic news. It is something that I am very passionate about and it is something that I will continue to be passionate about. I have recently started writing a column for a local newspaper on financial matters. I have had a lot of good feedback on it and I really enjoy writing it.

My column contains a good variety of economic advice, as well as quite a bit of financial humor. I write it so that many people can grasp the point of it, even if they have not studied economics in the past. I write so that all people can grasp the point.

I would have to say my greatest mentor would be Michael Dinich. I would like nothing more than to meet this man someday. He is amazing and I wish to be more like him. I actually try to write my articles in the same style that he would use. He is absolutely brilliant, and yet, even the simplest of minds can understand him. He is my hero.

How to Look Like a Celebrity in Photographs

Posted By Steve on February 15, 2008 @ 11:31 pm

Beautiful, elegant, sexy, attractive - some examples of words that you think of when looking at a photograph of your favorite celebrity.

Looking at the posters of celebrities most people want to have such a photo session where they will be the main heroes. But the other thing is to find a really professional photographer. As a rule, we don’t have time or money for such experiments and continue to admire the impressive posters of Natalie Portman or Salma Hayek. But still you can try and take some interesting photos by yourself. First of all, it is necessary to find the best pose and perspective. Practice in front of the mirror in order to find your best impression and pose.

But one of the most important things is to take as many photos as possible. As you know among several hundreds of photos only two will be perfect and astonishing. Others are so-so. So, there is nothing strange when you don’t like most of your portraits. The thing is that you do it once a year and don’t prepare. Of course, we will not deny that there are people who are graceful by nature. But there are not a lot of them in this world. And I may reassure you that most celebrities also practise before the mirror or with a special trainer… and now it is just their second nature. So, everything depends on you.

The other vary important thing for making you look attractive on photos is the light. You also can take a mirror and compare the reflections you see when you are staying in front of the window, in a dark room or under the lamp. Just try to find the best variant and of course, read more useful tips about such things. Thus, you can create a poster of yourself or of your friend and make such a present. I am sure, it will be better than the posters of some celebrity. Just try!

Start Small, Dream Big

Posted By Misty Mountain on December 8, 2007 @ 1:03 pm

I was browsing around in a specialty store the other day that sells aircraft parts. At first, it just seemed like an auto part store, but if you looked closer, you would see all sorts of wonderful little pieces, used to build and repair aircraft.

The most exciting section of the store was the avionics. I would never have guessed that there were so many intricate details involved in the electrical system of a plane. There is everything from dials to lights to fasteners available. I know where to look next time I want to make a robot costume for Halloween.

The shop also had a small section on building model airplanes. This was definitely a little bit more on my level. I thought that building a model was the perfect start to my career, where I would some day build electrical panels for fighter jets. Starting small is okay, as long as I continue to dream big.
