No matter how careful you are, you are always susceptible to tragedy. If you read the newspapers or watch the news on the television, many people each day have something bad happen to them.
I always thought that I was rather lucky and that nothing would happen to me. Well, I was wrong. You see, just a couple of weeks ago while picking up my son from daycare, my car was rear ended and I suffered some severe injuries.
Not only were the injuries bad, but I missed a bunch of work. This loss of income and medical bills wiped out my savings and we had to get another mortgage on the house. We were in serious financial trouble.
It wasn’t until we looked for a Boston car accident lawyer that we were able to have the opportunity to recover from the accident. According to the Boston car accident attorney, we did have a case and we could get financial compensation.
We will be going to court in the next couple of weeks and hopefully this will be resolved. I just hope that I will be able to fully recover from my injuries - my health is worth more than all the money in the world.
It seems that no matter what time of day I turn on the television, that I am greeted with some company that can give me a cheap car insurance rate that is better than what all their competition can give. In a perfect world, I would suppose that it would be possible, but not everyone can be cheaper than everyone else.
So I decided that I would go online to see if I could find the best cheap auto insurance I could get for my car. No, I don’t have a common car, but in fact, I drive an old Chevy truck, so old in fact that it is considered a classic.
After a bit of research, I learned that there was no such thing as cheap classic car insurance. I guess the ads on television are geared to most people, just not me.
The limousine has come a long way since its inception in the early part of the century. Originally just an extended version of the sedan model car, it was something that only the very wealthy could afford and it was special ordered.
The design was stretched out and allowed for extra seating which was usually put right behind the drivers seat and faced the rear.
Now days, you can find limos in all shapes and sizes from a traditional high class Mercedes model to the Hummer version, an SUV. Seating can be made to run the length of both sides of the limo to accommodate up to 24 people in some cases compared to the old versions which only held eight or ten.
Limousines are no longer just for the very wealthy either, with many working class people using them for special occasions and party situations like birthdays and bachelor parties also.
The McLaren F1 was the fastest super cars of its time. Produced from 1993 to 1998, there are only 100 of these fine cars ever produced. It was the fastest car ever produced (over 242 mph) until it was beaten in 2005 Koenigsegg CCR.
Gordon Murray first came up with the concept of the McLaren F1 after the 1988 Italian Grand Prix. Just four years later, the prototype was unveiled at a The Sporting Club in Monaco.
According to Gordon Murray, the car was never designed to break records, but rather be the ultimate driving car. That being said, the car can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds.
Want to go really fast?
The McLaren F1 is able to hit 200 miles per hour from a dead stop in less than 30 seconds. This is achieved by the 627 hp V12 motor built by BMW specifically for this car. The car body is also made from a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis – one of the first production cars to do this.
All in all the McLaren F1 can be summed up in the following statement:
Light body + huge power = Ultimate Supercar
I recently listed my home on the market, expecting a quick sale. Boy was I wrong.
I had a few people take a look at my house, but no one was really interested. According to my realtor, the price I was asking was reasonable, but for whatever reason, no one seemed interested in buying.
I was in a little time crunch, as we were expecting to move out of state at the end of the month. It sucked that I may be stuck with my house ? I didn?t know what to do.
We needed some milk for the kids, so I went to the supermarket. I took a quick peek on the bulletin board there where I put a flyer for my house for sale. No one even took a phone number off the sign.
I was just about to leave when another flyer caught my eye. It read:
That got me a little excited. On the sign there was a website that I could visit. I couldn?t wait to get home to check it out.
Sitting at the computer, I punched the website into my web browser. This seemed to be the site I needed (funny how that sometimes happens) and I started to read how to get a fast home sale.
The whole purpose of the site was to get leads for a motivated home seller. I submitted my information and received a phone call a few days later. Guess what? My house is sold.
Chip Foose is not just an everyday car designer. You may recognize the name from the Overhaulin’ television show as the artist that crafts old vehicles into stunning beauties. Did you know that Foose does vehicle designs outside of his television show?
I sure didn’t.
Today, I did come across a website dedicated to modded Ford Mustangs. Looking through its’ pages I was surprised to discover the 2007 Foose Stallion.
This new design is not your everyday Ford Mustang - but rather an awe inspiring original. You can find custom body work, ultra high performance z-rated tires, and Ford Racing parts. Some options available in the third quarter this year are the Ford Racing Supercharger system (which boosts the available horse power to 425 HP), and sequential tail lights. Available in both the coupe and convertible models, these babies have a base price of $40,000 US with only a limited run of a few thousand per year. You can expect these cars to be snatched up rather quickly with dealers selling the cars above the recommended price.
