Also when it comes to obtaining relieve from a panic attack you need to accept the fear and panic you are feeling for what they are. So as you take in your deep breaths tell yourself that it is only natural to feel the way you do and so allow the course of the episode to run it naturally.

Some people find that having a list of things that make them feel calm and relaxed is a great way of coping with and so providing panic attack relief. As soon as they feel an attack is about to happen they look and focus on this list and therefore stop the negative thoughts from taking control.
