For the past couple of years, I’ve been taking classes to learn how to be a professional photographer. You see, ever since I was a little child photography has been my passion and I have spent a lot of time with my camera.

Recently I passed a new milestone and won an award in a local photography show. I won a small cash prize and I thought it would be best if I were to reinvest that money into my hobby.

So, I bought a new Canon PowerShot G9 for myself. Sure, it isn’t a digital SLR, but it does have the same power and functionality as one – just in a smaller package. I’m very interested to see what kind of pictures I will be a look take with my new, professional quality camera.
