Ready to Open Tomorrow

Posted By Misty Mountain on June 4, 2008 @ 10:12 am

It is a great day as the grand opening for our little store is tomorrow, and it promises to be great!

We have been working on setting up shop for the past month and it has been a lot of work.  Not only did we design a lot of the furniture in the store ourselves, but we stocked all the shelves since we didn’t hire staff to setup the store.

With the big day just around the corner, I made sure to give the high risk merchant accounts provider a quick call to make sure everything was going to be ready for tomorrow.  I needed to make sure that they would be able to accept an unlimited amount of transactions, since it should be super busy all week.

They assured me that there wouldn’t be a problem, and I decided that I would go over the interview questions I had prepared for tomorrow.  With less than 24 hours to go, I am getting a bit stressed out about the opening – but I am sure it will go fine, right?

Best Divorce Lawyer

Posted By Twyla on June 3, 2008 @ 11:58 am

When I found out that my husband had been cheating on me for months, I was devastated. I had not seen it coming and I felt like I had been blindsided. I was worried about the future of our two children and I was scared that I was going to have to do it all by myself for the first time in my life.

When he told me that he wanted a divorce because his girlfriend was pregnant, I decided that I was going to find the best Salt Lake divorce attorney that I could. I did not want him and his girlfriend to take over the only home my children had ever known.

Early on into the proceedings, it was clear that I was going to be awarded with everything that I had asked for. I did not want to leave him with nothing, but I felt he still had a family to support and my awesome lawyer, Eric K. Johnson, agreed. In the end, we won the case and I no longer worry about being able to provide for my kids.

Too many Insurance Claims? Be Careful

Posted By Jenn Brockman on June 2, 2008 @ 11:23 am

Making too many claims on your car insurance may lead to higher auto insurance quotes in the future. For anyone who has been worried about filing a claim on your insurance for fear of being put into some kind of blacklist database, you might have been right.

There are two such databases in use now and most insurance agencies report to one or both of them. Now, these were actually put into place because of people who abused the system in order to catch them. Reporting false auto insurance claims leads to higher rates for everyone, everywhere and these databases were aimed at catching and preventing fraud offenders.

In a report from one of the databases information such as your name, address and policy number might be found along with the type of loss reported and when. So, if you’ve had a number of insurance claims over the years, you may be at risk for higher rates or finding it hard to get insurance at all.

A Little House Cleaning

Posted By Misty Mountain on June 1, 2008 @ 4:54 pm

Usually, I don’t really care how dirty my house gets, but today was an exception.  You see, there was a terrible dust storm last night, and it pelted my house so much that it looks like a sand castle.  I know that might sound a little funny, but you can see the dirt on the house, and it is not pretty.

But thankfully, my dirty house has given me a chance to play with a toy that I bought last year that I haven’t had a reason to use yet.  I bought a pressure washer to do a little pressure washing around the home, but since it rained so much last year, it never left the box.

So, this afternoon I had the opportunity to do a little concrete cleaning and house washing, and things look much better now.  I had never realized that a pressure washer would be so much different than a garden hose, and it shows.

My wife thinks a good job of cleaning, but if you ask me, I just had fun playing with water.  Lets keep it as a little secret between us, okay?
