My husband has a new hobby. This is a good thing, as it takes his mind and body away from the computer for a little while. His new interest is solar power. He is completely fascinated by it and he comes up with new tidbits of information about it every day. I have learned a lot from him as well.

I was floored to find out that he is actually looking into purchasing a residential solar system. At first I just laughed at him, as I know that it will be very expensive and I am not sure that we are financially capable of handling such a large expense right now. But, I decided to hear him out about it anyway.

I did agree that we would save a lot of money in the long run, but I was still not sure that it was something that we could afford. He told me that if I really supported him and if we really wanted it, we could come up with the money. He was right and I decided to give him my full support. I am glad I did because I would not go back now and I know we are doing a good thing for the future of the world.
