I have dreamed about my wedding day since I was a little girl. I am sure that every normal little girl has done the same thing. By the time I was a teenager, I had my whole wedding planned, right from the location, the flowers and the man I was going to marry. At that time, it was Jason Leeks from my sixth grade class, but that may be the only thing that changed as I grew up.

When Andrew proposed to me, I knew we had it made. After all, I had planned my entire wedding ten years ago and not too much had changed since then. The one thing that I did not take into consideration was the fact that Andrew had also had wedding dreams since he was young and they were definitely not the same as mine.

Andrew brought me a bunch of brochures about weddings abroad, which had always been his dream. I told him that most of our friends and family would not be able to come if we did this and he said that is why it had so much appeal. It would be more intimate and romantic. In the end, he finally convinced me, and you know what, it ended up being the most perfect wedding I had ever seen.
