My goal for all of my websites is simple: make some money. In order to make money with a website, your site needs some quality, targeted traffic. A search engine is a good provider of the money-making traffic ? but there are many other webmasters out there with the same goal as me ? ranking well in the search results on the search engines.
What sets one webmaster apart from another in terms of search engine ranking is their skills at SEO optimization.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the art of tweaking your webpages so that your site will be ranked higher in the search results on the search engines. Notice that I called it an art ? there are skills and techniques that you combine together (think of combining paint on a canvas ? you have painting) in order to get your website ranked well in those search results.
In an effort to improve my SEO skills, I came across a great SEO tutorials resource that improved my skillset in terms of search engine optimization. The blog where I found it, DNSeo, teaches you those important skills in getting your site noticed. The tutorials cover a broad range of topics and skill levels, and are written in plain English.
Poking around the site, I was surprised to find Free WordPress themes. What do these have to do with the site? Well, most of the themes were designed with the expectation of showing Adsense ads on the site ? if someone clicks on the ad, you make money. They look very professional done and reduce the time it takes you to lauch a new blog – which gives you time to make even more sites (and more money).
A big thank you to the webmaster of DNSeo.net ? most people are not willing to share their secrets or the tools that they use to succeed online ? but they did.
